The sustained efforts of the State Govt. in the light of the new Industrial strategy have yielded encouraging results. Consequently, the overall position of the industry in the State improved considerably. There has been overall industrial growth in the medium and small scale sectors especially and a wide product range of units have been set up in the Samba Industrial Growth Centre. In this context, the Industrial Growth Centre, Samba is coming up as a new industrial hub.

The growth center Samba is provides infrastructure support of best magnitude thereby attracting industrial investment in the State. The site at Samba conforms to the guiding criterion laid down for selection of Growth Centre.
